Fairwind Hotel’s story begins in 1936 when L. Murray Dixon built two of our historic buildings. A famed Art Deco architect, Dixon designed spectacular hotels and homes throughout Miami Beach. As the keepers of his legacy, Fairwind Hotel preserves the opulence and fun of this bygone era.
To show you Miami at her finest, our newly renovated hotel offers such luxuries as a rooftop pool with breathtaking, panoramic views of South Beach. For food and drink, La Sombra restaurant serves up Caribbean classics, while guests sip cocktails poolside or cool off in our underground bar, built 15 feet below sea level.
